Attorney denies "romanic relationship" between Davis, Brown

March 12 -- The attorney of Tina Davis, who was reportedly the woman who sent a lengthy "intimate" text message to Chris Brown, denied the rumored "romantic relationship" between Davis and Brown Wednesday.
"The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client," declared attorney Marshall B. Grossman in a written statement.
"The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client," declared attorney Marshall B. Grossman in a written statement.
"There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media report," said Grossman.
U.S. media reported that Davis, also Chris Brown's manager, and the R&B star had a relationship in the past. Also it was rumored that the text message which caused altercation between Brown and Rihanna was sent by Davis.
Grossman stressed in the statement: "If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken."
In fact, the two had been rumored to be romantically involved since 2005, but Brown's representative shot down the supposition in November 2007, saying the two only "have a strictly professional relationship."
The singer-songwriter Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna, a 21-year-old Barbadian singer and former beauty queen, in a Los Angeles district after a pre-Grammy Awards party last month. His arrest just hours before the Grammy ceremony on Feb. 8 made sensational entertainment headlines.
The prosecutors charged him with two felony counts including assault and making a criminal threat against Rihanna, but last Thursday, a Los Angeles court postponed the arraignment of Brown for until April 6.
If convicted on the two felony counts, Brown faces a sentence ranging from probation to four years and eight months in state prison, prosecutors said.
